prototype Nikkorex 8

From 1960 to 1973 Nippon Kogaku designed, manufactured and sold cine cameras with double 8mm, 8mm and Super 8 format. In 1975 they developed a sound-recording prototype, never sold and completely gave up the movie in 1979 to position the brand on the amateur video market.
