Nikon is discontinuing F-mount SLR cameras after 60 years of history.


In July 2022, the Nikkei newspaper reported that Nikon will stop manufacturing DSLR cameras and withdraw from SLR camera development after 60 years of history.
Nikon quickly issued a disclaimer, saying “Nikon continues to manufacture, sell and service DSLRs.»
