PMA as independent event is now out and the CES in Las Vegas replaces it. This exhibition of new technologies indicates clearly that image (and not photo) is to be
appreciated as a component of digital technology.
Fuji presents the FX100s, a new version of its bestseller FX 100 camera. This new camera "made in japan" offers better ergonomics, a 16 million pixels X-Trans CMOS
sensor, a new hybrid viewfinder with an autofocus rangefinder more efficient. Nikon also updates camleras with a more compact J3 and a entry level S1 cameras . Nikon also present at CES 2013 two new

Silver Photo is not present and the cameras are shown between TVs, tablets and smartphones. Most cameras manufacturers have updated their range without presenting new original products.

The Fujifilm X20 replaces X10 with a 12 megapixels X-Trans CMOS sensor and also a new hybrid AF.
The Samsung NX300 is an evolution of hybrid NX210 camera, it has the same design and the same sensor but now a larger touch screen (8.4 cm) wider and twistable.
Samsung completes its camera with a "2D/3D" 45 mm lens that offers a choice between a classic mode and a stereoscopic 3D mode.
Canon offers one of the only news, the PowerShot N is very compact (78.6 × 60.2 × 29.3 mm), has a touch and swivel screen, creative functions integrated. Its price is $ 299 (April 2013).

Under the Polaroid brand, a prototype of hybrid camera running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and with interchangeable lens. Its design looks like a clone of the Nikon J1.
In fact, the interchangeable block includes sensor and interchangeable lens as the Ricoh GRX. The first lens may be a 10-30 mm, as J1 probably associated with a sensor 1 ".
If this solution is attractive on paper, it is expensive and today only Ricoh continues in this way with an interesting (module for Leica M) and original success.
The actioncams, small cameras for filming extreme sports, were popularized by the Go Pro Hero 3. Other manufacturers like Sony enter on this market.
Panasonic with the HX-A100 proposes a camera into two parts that allows to place the lens element to eye level and increasing view immersion. The HX-A100 has an open f/2.5 lens with a viewing angle of 160 °.
The videos are recorded at 1080p (60fps), 720p (120fps) or 640p (240fps).
To end, Sigma shows interesting accessory: an USB dock to update software of Sigma interchangeable lenses . A useful and smart accessory.
