XPeng Aeroht eVTOL flying car

XPeng Aeroht eVTOL flying car

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2024 is back in force with the presence of Amazon, Google, Netflix, Sony, Samsumg and TikTok.
Alongside certain concept vehicles such as the XPeng Aeroht eVTOL flying car which are creating a buzz, this CES above all marks an acceleration of new technologies for everyday uses.

Generative artificial intelligence has become essential and is integrated into all connected products and everyday services: from televisions to cars. Like L'Oréal, present for 10 years at CES, which unveils the Air Light Pro, an infrared light hair dryer that adapts to the user's routine, Like Swarovski Optik which presents its AX Vision, binoculars capable of identifying nearly 9,000 species of birds.

Among the products that marked this CES: The Ella smart stroller from Glüxkind, the Signature OLED T transparent wireless television from LG, the electric "skis" from SKWheel...

Even if artificial intelligence in real or virtual photography is expected to become widespread in 2024, no new camera has been presented and the presence of photography at CES is reduced from year to year.

Nikon now presents itself as a "key technology solutions company" in a global society where humans and machines co-create seamlessly by 2030. At CES 2024, on the theme of " seamless co-creation", Nikon presents its advanced solutions and products in the two areas of "Quality of Life (QOL)" and "Industry".
For example, Nikon has developed a system that uses artificial intelligence to alert farmers if a cow is about to give birth, analyzing their movements with cameras installed on farms. The system is estimated to cost approximately 900,000 yen ($6,200) per year for a farm with 100 cows. A dedicated smartphone application is used to alert farmers when a calf is due.

In the field of quality of life, the solutions and products from Life & Entertainment and Healthcare that Nikon provides are exhibited.

In the Life and Entertainment area, in addition to the Z photographic system, Nikon also presents the ODYSSEY PRO and ODYSSEY intelligent telescopes that Nikon and Unistellar SAS, France jointly developed and the Unreal Ride system for real/virtual production shooting.

In the industrial sector, Nikon presents its latest solutions in the field of digital manufacturing.

In the Factory section, Robot Vision that Nikon is developing will be displayed. Robot Vision can identify parts and process them flexibly at high speed, achieving even greater visual acuity than the human eye. On the other that of the DJI Ronin 4D-8K, a cinema camera in carbon fiber and aluminum/magnesium alloy stabilized for cinema on 4 axes. The Zenmuse X9-8K camera is capable of filming up to 8K 75p (2.39:1) with a dynamic range of up to 14.7 stops and native ISO and great compatibility with lenses on the market.
